This book tells the facts as they are, with the authors personal experiences included. I am sure the Kennel Club and some pedigree dog/cat breeders will hate this book - but lets face it, the truth hurts sometimes. This book stands up for facts and humanity and not designer pets

I could really relate to Emma's story growing up, it made me laugh and get a tear in eye. Her compassion for animals is clear; I think it took a lot of courage to write such a truthful and informative account of the pedigree world. All breed lovers should be aware of what they are buying into.
