Bag is good. Plenty space, doesn't stand out, and goes with most things (as far as backpacks go). There's a velcro fastening at the top of the laptop section to stop the laptop falling out and padding on either side of the laptop section. Only two criticisms:
1. No padding at the bottom so you have to be careful not to put the bag down with too much force when your laptop's in it
2. One of the straps on mine was longer than the other so when both are pulled to the tightest one side hangs slightly lower than the other
