CATASTROPHIC WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!,

Sounds Ok Then Crashes To Nasty Blue Screen Of Death!This Sound card is rubbish, it casued my system to crash every 5 min, I eventually had to remove it in place of a 5 yr old SBLive to keep my pc stable. And yes I: Removed all trace of my old drivers and software Installed latest drivers and software available online Know about computers and have installed many sound cards Still I got the blue screen of death and more wasted time, effort and money since its probably to late to send the s#it back! Not sure if the problem is the drivers or hardware and have seen other comments of xp compatibility problems, but I dont care a product should not ship if it doesnt work with standard pc's on win xp. Summary: dont buy cheap sound cards from UnTRUSTworthy manufacturers unless they have already been very well reviewed over time! Even then it maybe worth paying a few pound more to save on your time, energy and money in the long run

Good card, low price.,

Don't believe the other reviewer. I also have Windows XP and my pc nevercrashed since i 've been using this device. The sound quality is quite satisfying and you won't find a cheaper price for a 7.1 pci sound card. The only problem is that it doesn't have an integrated decoder for the digital output.
