I purchased this stand for my 17-inch Packard Bell easynote. The stand itself is wide enough, but is nowhere near deep enough. The laptop overhangs at the back, obstructing airflow. The stand itself also shakes and doesn't seem strong enough to support the weight.
I would only recommend this stand for a 15" laptop at best.

The construction is plastic (with aluminium insert), it holds my Dell Vostro 1700 (17") but needs to be positioned carefully to prevent toppling over - it should have been made deeper, would have cost little more but would have worked far better.
The stand is indeed a little flimsy, but I have never had any issues with mine, which I've been using for about 9 months. The laptop does get a little hot, but never overheats to the point of being a problem. Happy with my purchase!

Keyboard Stand
This product does not work so well with my Acer laptop. On the shallowest setting, the weight of the laptop is so far back it tips up. Read more
