When I originally found out about Split Enz, I bought a vinyl copy of the "True Colours" album, with its original red and black colours, and the hit single "I Got You" to get more fans noticed. The reissued version of "True Colours" has now made a return, with glorious digital remastering, and two bonus tracks added on at the end. Good stuff indeed! Just listen to wild-and-wacky "Nobody Takes Me Seriously", which is mainly about how office work isn't as great as it can be (bad day at the office, Tim?!), whilst "Shark Attack" sounds like as clash of lightweight punk-rock meets pop, but really rather good! The green and black sleeve gives a choice of which sleeve looks best, and to be honest, the new-looking colours look just as good as the original ones did. The sad-sounding "I Hope I Never" is a tale of love gone wrong. The additional photos show how young but confident these guys were. Recommended for fans who've been wanting a reissue of an old favourite.
