Product Description

Product Description

Barney and Hooker are together again and fighting crime, leaving a trail of chaos, panic, and disorder in their wake. Some would say they're drawn toward trouble like a moth to a flame. Others would claim their friends, Rosa and Felicia, dump trouble in Barney's and Hooker's laps. Either way, they are in over their heads when Rosa is kidnapped, and her disappearance is linked to a dangerous voodoo priest and his search for a mystery-drenched stolen statue. Written by Janet and Alex Evanovich, and illustrated by Joëlle Jones (Dr. Horrible, Token), Troublemaker brings ultimate adventure set in sun-filled Miami! • Janet Evanovich, the New York Times number-one best-selling author, brings her hit Barnaby series to Dark Horse Comics! • The entire Troublemaker story collected into one affordable volume! • "With art reminiscent of the Florida sun and writing supercharged with action, the Troublemaker graphic novel from best-selling author Evanovich and her daughter is a winner!"-RT Book Reviews

3.0 out of 5 stars A must for a complete collection. 7 Sep 2012

So sad that is the best I can come up with. Yes, it is Barnaby and Nascar Guy and friends chasing around in a Graphic Novel format. It was a few minutes of fun but I do prefer the paper and audio versions of the Motorhead novels. My husband says the illustrations are spectacular. I will not fight that. We will still buy everything the Evanovich machine puts out. Guaranteed entertainment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not My Favorite Book 5 April 2013

I am not crazy about a book in cartoon style. I like to read books without having to skip from one character to another. I probably will not finish reading the book.

Didn't care for the graphics type of book, but I read the hold book anyway. Don't think I'll read the second book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Romp 8 Jun 2014
By Jazz It Up Baby - Published on Amazon.com

This was my initial exposure to the characters and it was superbly done in all regards. The story moves along expertly and fast. It has enough tension and action to keep it from becoming too lighthearted but it is lighthearted enough for its humor to shine through. A solid work all around, particularly for readers accustomed to the medium. It is obvious that many of the whiners that took the time to show that they are incapable of reading the details of a purchase in Amazon before doing so, thus publicly demonstrating further evidence of humankind's incapacity to take responsibility for their own carelessness while blaming the authors of this superb work for their emotional and pseudo-intellectual pettiness, are unworthy of being invited to further fortays into the Barnaby and Hooker universe created by Evanovich or to even truly enjoy it. If more comics come through from that universe, I am buying them. As for the related prose work, I'm heading there right now. Whiners, please enjoy a healthy dose of middlefingerin' and do grow up and out from your laughable and unwarranted mean spiritedness. Next time, find out what graphic novel means and don't be so risibly small minded and careless.
