Author's note: THE TROUBLE WITH WEDDINGS is the same story as REVENGE OF THE WEDDING PLANNER. The former is the Ireland edition and the latter is the UK edition, so please don't buy both of them together!!!

This was a lovely funny story. Girls in most boooks are normally quite conventional, not Mags! She is an ex goth, married to a punk & still likes the odd Gargoyle. Not the usual strappy sandal loving girl we normally hear about! And I who hate sandals am really glad of that.
It is Mags who tells this really funny, but sometimes sad & downright awkward story, about what happens when her friend & boss has a bit of a mid-life crisis, shall we say... She is left to run the Wedding planning business & pick up the pieces...and has her own problems to cope with, being a wife & mother & having her own issues that come along with that. I won't say much more as I don't want to ruin it.
Really enjoyable! And pretty funny at times.

This book was a real page turner, fantastic. I live in Northern Ireland only a few miles from where the story is based so all the places mentioned were really familiar to me. Enjoyed so much I have ordered more of the same author and hope they are up to the same standard.
