An excellent Who romp from the pen of Nev Fountain, performed admirably by the lovely Nicola Bryant. Any story - regardless of format - which features a goat called Neddie has to be good. Nev clearly had fun writing Columbus' diary sections in this, which not only move the plot along neatly, but also provide a neat little comedic distraction (but in a good way). (Nev's sketch-writing credentials shine through, even if not deliberately.)The reviewer thought that the absence of Colin Baker's commanding presence might detract from the quality of the play, but Ms Bryant does a great job of shifting between Peri's American tones and the more commanding, arrogant tones of the Doctor. Cracking stuff for Whovians. Nice work Nev.
