Product Description

Product Description

Wickham's jealousy and resentment of Darcy has grown steadily throughout the years and Darcy rightly suspects that Wickham is up to no good. But even though Darcy enlists the aid of Colonel Fitzwilliam to keep an eye on Wickham's activity, both men are shocked and dismayed when Wickham kidnaps Elizabeth and her newborn son. Knowing that Wickham has nothing left to lose, Darcy and Fitzwilliam rush to Elizabeth's rescue, but will they reach the hostages in time, and when they do, what kind of battle will they have to face? In keeping with such dramatic events, all the members of the Bennet and Darcy families rally-including the newly-engaged Georgiana Darcy, and Lady Catherine deBourgh, whose outrageous response to Darcy's troubles only makes things worse.

Another fab addition 31 July 2011
By Dei_13
Format:Paperback
Sharon Lathan gives another enchanting addition to the Darcy Saga. Unexpected twists were a pleasant surprise in this book as I was hooked from beginning to end as I was with the previous books. I love reading about the love between Lizzy and Darcy but also the trials they endure and how they come through them. Highly recommended.

Loved it as always, but... 21 April 2011

Another P&P fanfiction hit! I love Sharon Lathan's take on Darcy and Lizzy. I also love what she's done with the other charaters, and the new charaters are great. Sharon makes interesting stories out of everyday life. But.....
I have to include this, because as much as I love her books and look forward to them this is starting to be irksome. I have to skip pages and pages to get back to the storyline. Nobody has sex this often. I personally like sex scene's in novel's but it is no longer exciting if they are at each other 24/7. To me it gets in the way of the story. I will not let this fact stop me from enjoying her books. However, a FEW well placed sex scene's throughout the story rather then being so repetitive would really add to this readers enjoyment.

The story line was ok. It was not as good as I had hoped. I got the feeling the author had some sort of an obsession with the many love scenes of the Darcys.

Excellence Shines! 25 Mar 2011

Sharon Lathan out-did herself yet again! Excellent continuation of her Darcy Saga. I am an avid fan of her and of the entire Darcy family! Sharon is true to all of her characters. I enjoy the friendship between Darcy and Col. Fitzwilliam, you can feel a if you are in the same room with them while they exchange wits. Dr. Darcy is my favorite character Sharon created; I was so happy that she continued him in her novels. He is a great father-figure who gives Darcy great advise and guidance. I can't wait for Sharon's next book. With these 5 books, you can tell she still has great ideas that need to be shared. She can't write fast enough for me!
