Product Description

For as long as there have been Trolling Nights, Bevin Moore has been the unofficial official Gatekeeper for her group of friends, the Femme Crew. She is always the designated driver and always makes sure the ladies do not leave the premises with someone she considers a loser. Bevin takes her job very seriously, even if she doesn't like Trolling Nights in the first place. Yet on one particular Trolling Night, she's completely unaware someone has, finally, chosen her. Navy SEAL Timothy Capshaw has no problem going after what he wants; and from the moment he sees Bevin sitting alone and sentry-like in a booth, he is intrigued by her. After one dance, Tim knows he wants her. How will he convince Bevin he is the man she hasn't known she's been looking for and that the need for her Trolling Nights is over?

A very sweet story 5 Sep 2011
By P
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved this story, love this author. The characters are great, they aren't the obvious heroine or hero really because the hero is man enough to go with his heart, rather than society's imposed ideal and the heroine is the opposite of what she appears to be. Really quite refreshing. The author also gives her characters interesting complex personalities and explores how these affect their perception of societal norms and values and their relationship to those norms. Loved reading this book. A very good buy.

Its hot without getting too hot, if you know what I mean.

Its a wonderful deep story line. The author took time to build up her characters and I secretly hope she will create a series and write like this again using some of the other characters?!?

I really enjoyed it and highly recommend the book. Definitely 5 star material.

Loses momentum... 19 Aug 2011
By Vanessa
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this book on the strength of the other review. But I was disappointed. The books starts off well enough- an officer in the navy chasing a woman he finds desirable and who is unavailable. It had so much promise. But as the book wears on the female lead gets really annoying and tedious. She completely lacks confidence and after awhile you get tired of her putting herself down so he can lift her up. Also, it's too long and tries to do so much. There's almost TOO much sexual tension and we wait for them to finally get it on. I finished half way because it just got so boring and repetitive. Not one of my favorite romances. But to give the author credit, some of the writing and dialogue is quite original.
