My cousin and I are reasonable film buffs with a self-proclaimed excellent taste in movies. And this production has put us on a manic mission for the last decade to find and watch this masterpiece once more. It has evil ugly creatures and innocent little girls and magic and leaves growing out of everywhere inside a building- which probably made us try and do the same in our own homes by bringing in half the garden and rearranging it in an..........
Anyway. Yeah, it, in my memory and soon to be confirmed in reality is an incredible fantasy film with horror elements- epitomising the genre in the 80s. It rocks!!!!

I first saw this when I was about eleven years old and I loved it. So when I saw it (10 years later) for sale on Amazon I had to buy it. Not sure whether i'd still find it as entertaining and creepy, I sat down to watch it, somewhat apprehensively. Anxious that my fond, nostalgic memories of it would be lost if it wasn't as good. I needn't have worried, within minutes I was glued to the screen, back in the world of the Trolls where I had been a decade before. It's a classic fantasy, with an inkling of horror. It has fantastic characters and makeup, with an inventive and magical story. If you like films such as Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Legend or willow with a little bit of Critters thrown in, then you will love this. It will especially appeal to younger teenagers, but I think most ages who appreciate the genre will enjoy it.

i loved the movie. it was reely good.it was about the potter family moves into an apartment. and their little daughter and her big bro dropps a ball down basement stairs. her bro is so kind to make her get it.the ball rolls down further into the basement and an ugly hairy troll(more like a gremlin)pops out and pokes her with his ring and he took the little girls shape and the troll can turn into anybody he pokes with his ring.the troll uses the little girl to go into other peoples apartment rooms and use her to kill them. its da bomb your gonna luv it pleez buy it or watch it
