I bought this work center as a retirement present to myself so that I could get more adventurous in the woodwork I do. It is an excellent bit of kit once assembled. You have to be adept at Mechano to do so but then you wouldn't be doing DIY if you weren't. I bought it along with the router table, saw height adjuster and a number of the other attachments and all in all I am delighted. The ability to rip in large sheets is a joy! The accuracy is good allowing repetitive cuts with ease.

I'm a keen DIYer & like a lot of us, tight on room as I used my garage as a workshop. I've looked for many years for a base to use multiple tools with - this is it! Base for table saw, sliding saw, fixed and sliding router, has an attachment to fit a planer, metal chop saw + loads of accessories.
So far I've bought the workcentre, Circular saw, Router with table (fits in the workcentre)- both of these power tools are really good quality, but not cheap! I've also bought some of the smaller accessories. It's brilliantly thought out, well made and precise to use. The instructions aren't very comprehensive for assembly & fitting all the bits but the Triton website has downloads & U tube has loads of video clips. The only thing is, as it has loads of extra bits I can imagine spending lots of money on it in the future but getting plenty of satisfaction trying new projects.

I already have a Triton router table and have been pleased with that so I decided to get the Workcentre in preparation for my home refurbishment. The Triton range is impressive and good value and I've now taken the decision to standardise on it for woodworking in my workshop. The ideal would, of course, be dedicated fixed woodworking machinery but I don't do enough to justify the cost, don't have the space and do other things apart from woodwork. The Workcentre legs can be folded so that it can be stored when not in use. The design of the Workcentre is ingenious and well thought out but the instructions aren't the easiest I ever had to follow and the features aren't fully explained. Perhaps I don't have enough experience to spot the uses intuitively but I'm sure that I'm not alone in that. There is a DVD in the pack which is well worth watching and plenty of stuff on You Tube but I still had some head scratching moments during assembly. Small details like the hanging hooks for various bits are well thought out but not covered in the instructions so you have to work it out yourself. Another example is the sliding push stick, which is a great idea but its use isn't documented at all. The Workcentre is so versatile that it would also benefit from more instruction on use as well as assembly and I haven't worked out all of the potential yet. I think that I saw mention of a Triton project book on the Internet but haven't been able to find it again yet. You Tube is of some help. The product is sturdy and well made to what seem fine tolerances, the fit was so tight for a couple of components that I began to think that I'd been sent the wrong parts but it all came right in the end.

It is worth taking the trouble to get the saw properly aligned and the instructions are clear for that.

This saw table is brilliantly versatile and can be stowed away easily which for a part time DIYer is a God send. Take your time to set up the saw blade which takes a bit of jiggery pokery even with the fancy "micro adjustment", I actually removed it because it became frustrating to set up.

I have the planer attachement, router table, height adjustment kit for both saw and router and router and cant fault any of the kit. Worth the money in my view.

Eventually decided to get this as an upgrade to my elderly Mk3 work centre which has served me well for 20+ years. In retrospect it was not entirely necessary and upgrading the older saw chassis would have been adequate but this improves the previous model in many more ways it is probably worth it. Having said that, some of the changes make some things more convenient but not always better. The rip fence is a great improvement, the guide channels are better and I think it will all be (even) more accurate in use - but the legs are more wobbly than before. I've gone the whole hog this time too with a new Triton saw and height winder.

What lets it down is the documentation. The written manual is poor and much more is gained from the DVD but there is nothing about actually using it or tips for woodworking which was previously included on the older VHS. Neither the DVD or manual mention the various extra plastic parts such as the work piece pusher or finger pushers or how to stow the crosscut fence, the rip fence or the protractor.

Been thinking about getting one of these for ages. With summer hols coming up more time on my hands to make good use of it so took the plunge. So far has not disappointed. My only moan (hence the 4 stars) is the instruction are rubbish. After hunting around on the internet found a far better set to use even told you where all the tools go.

Also bought the Triton Saw and height winding kit to go with the workcentre would recommend anyone to do the same if you can manage it as they all fit together great
