Product Description

Size Name: 10.5kW

Product Description

Convenient to use and economical to run, the Triton Seville electric shower heats cold water instantly and does not rely on the water pre-heated by your boiler. The inbuilt heating elements ensure a hot and refreshing shower is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The 5 electric cable and water entry positions allow maximum flexibility when fitting as a new installation, or ease of matching up existing plumbing and wiring if being fitted as a replacement. It's easy to use with a numbered temperature control dial, and 3 power settings allow versatile use (high power setting, economy setting for summertime use and cold setting for rinsing). The scale resistant shower head can provide 5 different spray effects, from a wide gentle spray through to a vigorous jet pattern.

Bought this to replace the existing one that was no longer working. This was apparently so simple to install as it has the 5 water and wire entry points. No pipework or wire work had to be changed. It took just 15 minutes to remove the old one and install this one. Excellent. Also the shower itself performs well. My son - who fitted this - has since bought a second one to install for a friend of his. Very reasonable price too because I shopped around at Argos, Screwfix and Ebay and Amazon (as usual) could not be beaten especially with prime delivery the next day.

I bought this to replace an existing 7kw shower and didnt want the expense of upgrading the power supply to accommodate a higher powered shower. Retail outlets dont appear to provide anything less than 8kw. This particular model provides everything that I expect from a shower. Simple to operate, instant hot water, no waiting and would go hotter than I could stand if I wanted it to. Excellent shower with no bells and whistles, but does the job it is intended for perfectly.

I bought this to replace my old broken 7kw Triton T70 shower which was ideal for me. For some unknown reason 7.5 kw showers are not available in the shops. Due to the wiring for my old istallation which could not handle more than 7.8kw this shower was ideal.
It gives out plenty of heat for the kw so saves on energy!
Even in the icy winter I haven't even needed to put it on full power.
Having two dials, one to switch on the unit and set the preset heat and the other to adjust overall heat was simlar to my old model.
The head has an adjustable jet too.
Insallation was straight forward though the only thing I didn't like was the way the caps that the cover the screws to the shower head pole to the wall were fiddly to clip on and no doubt may break off if I ever needed to take to pole off the wall.
Otherwise a great shower, good purchace.

We bought this to replace a much more expensive electric shower which was not reliable with hot/cold water. What a great shower this is, even in very cold weather minus -12C there is plenty of hot water with pressure, I wish we had this shower years ago. Very easy to fit, only 20 minutes.

Excellent value for money. Easy to fit the plumbing yourself if you read the instructions carefully, twice. Electrics best done by an electrician, take no chances. Five different sprayhead patterns, full dial temperature control, and seasonal pressure control. This looks and feels very stylish indeed. The instructions are very good. They have thought of everything in this item, I don't know what else you would want in a shower!

Amazing how much you learn when you research a purchase on Amazon - so this review is an attempt to give back so to speak. We had an old Triton T70i shower which suddenly stopped passing water (sorry) and some online research identified that this was probably a failed solenoid, £15 to replace on the auction site that shall remain nameless. Or I could buy the Seville for £52.

Since our T70i was 14 years old and used daily it was worth splashing out (sorry) on a new one. My decision was assisted by the fact that Amazon were offering a box-damaged one for £42. Received today on Prime delivery, and true to their word, it was just the box that was damaged, the shower unit is brand new and I was able to register the guarantee. It has taken me around 2 hours to install (half of which was spent undoing the compression joint on the old shower) and we now have a shower again, thank goodness.

Some key points that may be helpful.

a. The old T70i came in 7KW and 8KW variants. If you have the 7KW model, your wiring will probably be 6mm and your breaker 32A. Any replacement more powerful than 7.5KW requires 10mm wiring and 45A breaker. I could see my way to a new breaker, but not new wiring, so had to buy a 7.5KW shower

b. Seville seems to be the only Triton available in low wattage AND this kit is very good value. The shower head bundled with the Seville alone costs £20 to buy separately and is far nicer than our old one. Lower wattage means lower energy bills so don't hanker after the 8.5KW-10.5KW models. The water flow on our new Seville is fine and hot, it seems a bit better than the T70i, I guess the extra 0.5KW makes a difference.

Our previous shower was a 7.5kW and proved incapable of delivering water warm enough for comfortable all year round use; in fact it burnt out attempting to do so. Due to living on a hill side, the mains water is delivered colder than would be the case at lower altitudes.
This 10.5kW shower delivers copious amounts of hot water easily - well within its range. We highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants an efficient shower all year round and which is particularly easy to operate. The adjustable shower head is very convenient too - great for rinsing hair for instance.
It also looks good in a modern bathroom.

I bought this as a replacement for the shower in my en-suite. I was unable to go for the higher KW rated as I was advised by the sparky that it could blow the consumer unit if I used it at the same time as the 10.5KW shower I have in the main bathroom.I am so glad I have gone for this one. It's no frills but does exactly what you want. It delivers piping hot water for long showers and uses less power than it's bigger brother. I thoroughly recommend this shower and for those who complained it did not have a pump, well of course it doesn't, it's an electric shower and not a power shower, it will only deliver water at the pressure your supply feeds it!!
