Reviews

This OOP-DVD from Germany features the original 134 minutes Director's Cut of the movie(with original english audio!), as shown in european cinemas in 1967, while all other DVDs just show the 121 minutes version that was shortened for US cinemas.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not quite complete. 8 April 2012
Triple Cross a great film on par with early 007 but has somehow been ignored by the DVD media for a restoration a superb soundtrack too .The original British cinema panavision version had the Warner bros logo but suffered brief censorship for an A certificate. The German DVD differs by having a French production opener with a German title card it has the brief missing nudity (shown in the old abridged VHS pre cert) cut from the British DVD and BBC tv*(has* the Warner logo) showings but is missing the line "Eddie are you really British agent?reply what took you so long" it also has a brief scene of german audio only and is not anamorphic w/s.So a more complete version would be to hybrid all versions The versions shown on ITV in the 1980s and Carlton TV around 2001 were also more complete it appears scenes were cut to accommodate double bill length or whatever country it was shown- beware a Greek DVD free with a newspaper poor picture and some cuts .Come on Warners a full 2 DVD release please complete with soundtracks and possible commentries.
