This is another brilliant release from Paul Goodwin, following 2009's 'Scars'.
This record is much like its predecessor, punchy, emotionally literate and deeply personal, creating a sonic landscape of regret, anger, bitterness and, moreso here than on 'Scars', a sense of tentative, reflective positivity.
'The Ghost Of Paddy's Night Past', 'This Place Is Dead Anyway', 'Ball And Chain' and 'Nothing To Say', to mention just a few containted herein, are some of the finest songs you'll here this, or for that matter any other, year.
Do your ears a favour and treat them to this short, pointed and pointful burst of Goodwin goodness...you won't regret it!
