The animation in this is gret but the story is a little off, still a fun way to crash some time especially if you enjoyed the previous episodes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Episodes 17 to 20 15 July 2010

This penultimate volume of the `Trinity Blood' anime contains a further four episodes and after am interesting but not great volume four, this fifth volume is back on form. The first three episodes of this volume continue Esther and Father Abel's time in the Empire as the political plots spiral into a full blown assassination attempt of the Empress. After this Ester and the Pope visit Albion for the funeral of the Queen only to be caught up in a terrorist attack.

This is another very good volume with all four episodes being very entertaining. The volume includes some good action and although the plot was somewhat predictable it was still entertaining and interesting. The volume also includes a tiny bit of backstory for Father Abel and his family as well. The volume finishes with an interesting story which looks like it could be interesting.
