All the stories except Guns'n'Swords are sequels to Silent Noise, which takes place before.

Midnight Run - Prince Antonio Borgia, a divinity student at the University of Cologne, has a list of all the people loyal to Neue Vatican and Cardinal D'Este. Abel is sent collect the list and him. Historical note: Prince Antonio is a Spaniard. The Borgias were before they moved to Italy. In their lifetime they were called the Spaniards.

Judas Priest - A traitor who works for Neue Vatican is a member of the AX team protecting Caterina and Alessandro when they travel incognito to Gernanicus to hold a special mass for soldiers who died fighting for the Vatican. Havel promises to protect Alessandro. Later on Alessandro is kidnapped.

Know Faith - Francesco launches an attack to crush the heretics of Neue Vatican. AX launches its plan to rescue Alessandro. Caterina is seclusion in Milan. There are a few cryptic remarks about family relationships between Caterina and Francesco, with Alessandro caught between them. The conflict between the two is reflected in the conflict between the Office of the Inquisition and AX. In t his story, we see why Sister Paula is called the Lady of Death.

Guns'n'Swords - Hugue is still on his personal quest for revenge against the Vampire who destroyed his family. Tres keeps finding him and Hugue keeps escaping. 5.0 out of 5 stars Much better than the anime!!! 7 Jan 2009
By Robbie B. - Published on Amazon.com
The written series of Trinity Blood, in my opinion, is much better than the anime. The anime left out so many details crucial to the story. Trinity Blood was good and looked spectacular . But it had the potential to be a masterpiece if it followed the story down to the last detail; although it would have been way more than 26 episodes.

Know Faith focus on Ax agent Know Faith and his role in Trinity Blood. It also elaborates more on pope Alessandro and sister Paula and has an extra story about Sword dancer. These are all charcters who had little to almost no involvement in the anime but play big roles in the story. I cannot stress enough how you must buy these light novels to get the complete feel of Trinity Blood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish the rest of these would be released! 30 Dec 2013

I wish the company who put out this light novel would put out the rest of the story. It is very frustrating that about half of each of the two storlyines was published in English, and the final portions of the stories were never released in English. That being said, this is an excellent item for fans of the anime of the same name, albeit you may be surprised by the differences in some of the characters.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is the part of the story missing from the anime. 14 Feb 2013

This is the one book in this series that is almost entirely different from the anime. It contains characters that were either ignored or only mentioned in passing. It tells a whole other story, running in parallel to the anime. Some of the descriptions for characters that did appear in the anime are different, some appearing much younger or older than they appear in the anime....I suspect this was done to remove a little of the creepy factor that some of these characters would have evoked otherwise.
