Product Description

With the Trigger Point Massage Ball, apply pressure by using the floor, wall or any hard surface to stabilize movement of the ball. In order to get deep into the muscle the ball has to remain still with an ample amount pressure for 5 to 7 seconds, the ball will change shape. Once relieved, roll the Massage Ball side to side or in circles for a cross friction type massage. The Massage Ball is great for reliving neck, shoulder, back, chest or any stress area that you have minor aches and pains.

I already have the triggerpoint roller, but found that for massages, a ball is better. There's lots of YouTube clips about using tennis balls, but I think a massage ball is better as there is less give, and you can use the 'pointy' end for a deeper massage. I injured both my shoulder and forearm during weight training a long time ago. I've been able to use the massage ball for both sets of muscles with good effect. I also use the ball for the soles of my feet as I do quite a bit of running as well.

Difficult to describe how this compares to using a tennis ball but it seems to have the correct level of firmness to press against.

after being diagnosed with tendinopathy in both knees, my physiotherapist recommended that I purchase the TP massage ball for use on my glutes and IT band. Since I got it, I hardly use any other massage method (like foam cylinders or TP massage cylinders at the gym). It is painful, but very effective for use on these difficult areas that the cylinder would barely reach.
It has helped me a lot with my recovery, although I do look a little bit like a mental person when I am using it (especially against the wall or on the floor!)

Used this on my piriformis and it has the correct level of firmness and surface area to help reach the troublesome area. Instant results when use properly, highly recommended.

I initially purchased the massage ball for my glutes but have since realised how amazing it is for the muscles on the bottom of your foot - its fabulous, gets right into the nooks and crannies! The longer lead time for delivery was worth the wait ;0)

Really easy to use and very portable. This is great for Trigger Point Therapy, especially on feet. Has really helped improve my painful right foot. You can use a tennis ball for a similar massage but this is softer on the skin.

bought to massage sore muscles in my back and used for my foot that has Plantar Falitis, however, I think a tennis ball would have done the job just as good.
