It's not as if this music actually has anything to do with the TV series where Dom Joly confuses and annoys old people and tourists. True, it is the soundtrack that he plays to accompany his sketches but it's not as offensive or shallow.
This is basically a compilation of beautiful music Dom Joly happens to like. As he admits himself he discovered that this TV show "was a unique opportunity to play his record collection to a more discerning audience than his neighbour and his two cats".
What the show and the record have in common though is that they are works of pure genius. If you like music at all, get this CD. (but I would have liked the song "haunted" from the supermarket sequence to be on it as well. I guess you can't have everything.)

If you have ever seen the show and been entertained by it, you'll love this album. Although none of the tracks are unique to the show, whenever you hear them you can't help but be transported back to the funniest bits in the show - a great compilation!

Trigger Happy TV has been described as 'Candid Camera on Acid' and rightly so. It's certainly the music that makes the show. A varied mix from old classics right to the signature tune of 'Connection' by Elastica, this is a must for any comedy and music fans.
