The name of this band might be considered a bit of a 'liberty', as Pierre Moerlen died in 2005 and this was released in 2010. From what I can gather, the band is actually the last lineup of 'Pierre Moerlen's Gong' that existed before Moerlen's untimely death, and a large chunk of the album consists of his songs. The band must have decided to carry on with the name, but without the person.
Musically, it's very much like Pierre Moerlen's Gong's Time if the Key album, with the vibraphone quite prominent - in fact, tracks 1 and 3 could be from Time is the Key. If you liked those albums, then this is probably worth getting - even if the name of the band is a little tenuous, the sound most certainly isn't.
The final track, a bonus, is a demo of one of the songs with Moerlen on drums.
