I have read all of the redwall books and I must admit that I got a bit confused with the names of all the badgers, but this book made it crystal clear. The illustrations are wonderful, the pictures look just as I imagined the creatures to be.

I enjoyed the pamphlet and the poster. Badgers are my favorite species in the Redwall books, which I have avidly read for about six years. There was very little new information, but I suppose Brian Jacques is busy writing his next book and there is enough information to keep everyone entertained until that comes out. The compilation of badger information was great, and the quiz was harder than I expected.
The most frusterating part of this pamphlet is the lack of information on Mother Mellus. She made it into TWO books, more than most of the badgers who got biographies and their picture on the poster. She is as much of a warrior in my eyes as any of the others - she died saving the Mousebabe, fought against Graypatch in Mariel of Redwall, etc. yet she is mentioned only breifly in this book! That irritated me a bit, but the pictures of all the other badgers made it worth the buy. Hope it's published in America soon too.

The book is absolutely amazing. The illustrations are wonderful, and the quiz is quite challengeing. I do wish the Brain Jacques had written a bit more unknown history of the badger characters, and Mother Mellus should have been mentioned.Overall, this book is worth every penny! I can't wait for Otters and Mice!

As a Redwall fan, thoroughly enjoy Brian's Redwall series. I thought Badgers was really, really good. While it didn't go as in depth as I would like it to have, it still serves to delight. Wetting our appetites for more!
