I found this book a wonderful reference text for my first Triathlon. The author (Sam Murphy) has a great no-nonsense practical approach to training and preparing for both Sprint and Olympic distance Triathlons. She appreciates that most participants are trying to juggle their training schedules around their ordinary committmens. I also liked that the many photos of the assocaited gear and equipment are right up to date with the latest and greatest on the market. If you are thinking of doing a Trialthlon and need to know where to start, this book will get you to the finish line very well prepared.
