Book Description

Mochizuki General Hospital boasts some of the most well-trained (and well-endowed) nurses in town. But through these ladies spend much of their day battling disease, their after-hours are spent fighting a very different sort of disease... Under the leadership of the hospital chairman, a handful of staff members and local teenagers form a group of mercenary assassins, targeting the 'cancers' of society and excising those individuals before their wickedness spreads.

Real quality art. The book arrived in great shape, and it was a generally good introduction to the series. Did I mention... Quality art? The drawings are gorgeous!

2.0 out of 5 stars So many cliches... 21 April 2013
By Kid Kyoto - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Triage X is the story of a group of sexy nurses who kill criminals since they are 'infections' on the body of the city.

No one picks this up expecting Shakespeare and I figured it would at least be some fun action along the lines of the Dirty Pair or Gunsmith Cats. But the action is pretty rote and the side drama is a collection of manga cliches that are taken much, MUCH too seriously for this book to be any fun.

For example, two of the vigilantes are high school students, because of course they are! And the girl has a crush on the boy, because of course she does. And the girl is also an idol singer because why wouldn't you want the most famous girl in Japan on your covert death squad.

It's not that I expect a book like Triage X to be a bastion of hard-hitting realism, but these manga cliches are treated completely seriously as though they were the most original ideas ever.

So Triage X offers tired characters and stories dressed up with a little T&A and that's just not enough to make it worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent read 7 Nov 2012
By Jeremy P - Published on Amazon.com

A rather unique premise and an interesting plot have made this one of my favorite manga. Aside from that, the art is fantastic with lots of fan service (but not an overwhelming amount), the main characters are very likable, and having read up to volume 4, I can tell you that the series will continue to deliver.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining 22 Jan 2013
By B. Sounthonevichith - Published on Amazon.com

This wasn't a bad manga and was actually quite entertaining. The story is about a bunch of female nurses and their secondary job as hitmen, or is it the other way around, that's pretty much it. I don't know too much about this manga as I only bought it so I can get free shipping from Amazon. The artwork is very nice, although, I could do without all of the super huge breasts on these characters. Normal sized breasts would have sufficed. Definately looking forward to volume 2 when it comes out. Oh, if you're buying for your kid or someone younger, be warn that this manga acually has nudity in it and very skimpy outfit. It's still a very entertaining read but just so you know before buying.

2.0 out of 5 stars Its realy bland 17 July 2013
By Grigori Getahun - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I have to agree with some of the cats here. Satou Shouji is just not bringing it as a writer here or elsewhere and this whole "mature" shonen manga stuff seldom works. Just Tits and Violence and not much substance. The porn inspired art is not for me but is reasonably well done so that aspect is OK.
The rest, meh. Give it a pass. Just go and read Berserk or something.
