I bought these socks for use on my motorbike as tehy lookd like they woudl do a decent job, on the bike they are very cosy and well padded. They extend well up the leg to keep the whole calf area warm even in the minus temperatures
My only critism is that off the bike your feet can get very hot very quickly and that the socks dont really wick away moisture. However it is not a major problem and I suspect it has alot more to do with heavy motorbike boots and me using them for something they werent designed for. Overall a good product at a good price
