This is a really bad toy. The only way to switch cassettes is to open the battery part, take the batteries off, change cassette place back batteries etc. It is also bad quality projector and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I wish I could leave no stars. Read the glorious description on the box and then try this travesty out for real. "You can project images onto the walls or ceiling...explore the depths of the sea and outer space" etc. This is incredible considering it comes from such an erstwhile organisation as National geographic. The picture is just about discernible if you keep the projector about 2 inches from the wall, and that gives you a pretty poor image the size of a postage stamp. You can forget any ideas of projecting onto a ceiling unless you want to send your child up a ladder. My son is fascinated by both space and the oceans, and this was a huge disappointment to him as he saved up his pocket money to buy it. Luckily I have got a refund, but that doesn't stop him feeling upset and, quite frankly, cheated by greedy adults who should know better than to try to rip off children with misleading claims. Disgraceful.
