Most up-to-date book on the topic. Daily itenaries are very helpful for planning your trek. The more general sections e.g. on Kathmandu are too brief and you need to rely on an additional source of information for these.

An excellent book which gives great detail of the treks and effort levels requierd. The maps are also very good. I particularly like the hour by hour distance tracker.

I had bought an earlier edition and used it to trek Everest Base Camp 12 years ago with Exodus. After the trek I learnt that armed with this guide I could have easily organised the trek locally at half the price. Bought this edition in order to climb Island Peak this autumn. Having names of the lodges on trails is most useful. Highly recommended.
