Product Description

Product Description

Fibromyalgia is a frustrating condition that can significantly impact a person's life. The pain, fatigue, muscle stiffness and lack of energy motivation this puzzling disease causes can make each day difficult. There are prescription medications to treat the symptoms of fibromyalgia, but as physicians we've found that patients often respond to dietary and lifestyle changes. In this book, we'll discuss dietary changes that help the symptoms and also the role supplements play. Here are some of the things you'll learn:

How diet helps fibromyalgia symptoms
Foods that help fibromyalgia symptoms
Foods that can make you feel worse
If you eat too much of this, it's almost guaranteed to make your symptoms worse
A mineral that may help and how to get more of it
Two vitamin deficiencies that are common in people with fibromyalgia and may worsen the symptoms
Are you drinking the wrong beverages?
Is caffeine your friend or foe?
What kind of protein is best - and is red meat a bad choice?
Food allergies and food sensitivities - how to tell if certain foods are aggravating your symptoms
Some research shows this amino acid gives people with fibromyalgia more energy
Other nutritional supplements that may help

If you've tried other treatments that haven't worked, you owe it to yourself to give dietary changes a try.

1.0 out of 5 stars No real information 6 Aug 2013

I did not find this useful. It simply gave a few ideas of things that may or may not help with little evidence. There were few practical tips on how to do the things they suggested and no recipes or meal plans. The whole thing took 10 minutes to read and I learned nothing new.

There is nothing in this book that all fibro web pages don't tell you. Was looking forward to reading helpful insists to more foods and maybe some tasty recipes to try but instead the same ole info regarding a healthy diet...that is a must for every body and common knowledge as a first must for fibrous suffers. Wasted my money on this. Thank God it was on offer. Choose something else if you are considering this.
