The book tells the the who story really poorly and Chris Welch has written far better on the band in the past. If you are looking for a single book on the who just go for Anyway Anyhow Anywhere it tells the story better.

This though has the unique selling point of including reproductions of 20+ items of memorabilia covering tickets, posters, handbills, covers etc from a the collection of a single large US collector.

Bought my copy at HMV where there was a couple of extra 8x10 photos of the band (and it was cheaper)
