GORGEOUS EXQUISITE BOOK

The book is FILLED with GORGEOUS PHOTOS of ancient Buddhist artwork from around the world with excellent description and history. Better than a National Geographic and WORTH EVERY PENNY. There is an EXQUISITE photo on EVERY page with the paper being very thick and high quality. The book is on the larger side, so none of the detail from the artwork is lost due to being too small. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in art, buddhism and/or history. Bravo to Mr. Lowenstein.

I have one other large book with images of significane relative to the Buddha, and the range of images is quite limited. I purchased this one after leafing through a friend's copy and the number, range, and quality of the images are all excellent to outstanding.
