An impressive selection of photos - very varied styles too, such as wildlife, landscape, documentary, portraits. Good for inspiration, for travel photography.
The varied types of photography perhaps mean that the book feels a skimpy or bit unfocussed, as each country Art Wolfe visited is covered in only a few (very different) images, which leaves you wanting more and feeling that it is skimming across the surface a bit. But I guess that is the nature of the type of book - it doesn't claim to be a definitive guide to a particular place, the whole idea is that it summarises a long period of travelling around. I don't know his other books, but on the basis of this one I'll be checking them out.
