For a book dedicated to the Baltic this is a bit lacking in detail and depth. Borrowed Fodor's European Ports of Call from local library which does each port better.

If you want to plan your own trips rather then rely on sometimes costly excursions organised by Cruise Companies this is very helpful and informative.

Very useful to read up before you go - with maps of the towns you are visiting enabling you to plan ahead rather than pay out for costly tour operators excursions. We like to wander aound on our own so hope that it will prove useful when we get there!!
