Book Description

10 Oct 2009
On a bitter January night twenty years ago, Beverly Moon disappeared from the home she shared with her husband and daughter in the idyllic river town of Fairmont, Pennsylvania. When present-day writer/bartender Will Jameson gets wind of the story he unwittingly returns it to the front page of the local newspaper and sets a maelstrom in motion that won't come to rest until not one, but two mysteries are unraveled. With "Traveling Clothes," Bill Deasy builds upon the promise of his award-winning debut, "Ransom Seaborn," and establishes himself as a fresh new voice in American literature.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sophmore release even better than the first! 28 Oct 2009
By Picky Reader - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
It is always so disappointing when you find a new author who has written a fantastic book and then after waiting anxiously for more of their work, you find that they only had one in them. Not so with Bill Deasy. This book is even more compelling than Ransom Seaborn. From the first paragraph he starts weaving a web involving the characters of Fairmont that is so engrossing, you can not put the book down until you know what happens to them. And even after you finish, they were so real, they linger. While their stories are complete, you want more. And thankfully, Deasy has proven that he does have more! I can not wait for the next, and the next, and the next...!

This book continued the superb stoy and writing that got me hooked on
deasy in his first book of the trilogy. Deasy has great writing talent. He understands the human heart and soul.
Hope he contunues to write.

It didn't take me long to be drawn into the small town life of this story. I was totally surprised by the intensity as the story unfolds. I'm looking forward to reading the other 2 Finbar Trilogy offerings from talented storyteller Bill Deasy.
