5.0 out of 5 stars Wormhole 2??? 18 Jun 2009
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
I'm not gonna waste your time on this review - this album is a straight banger, from start to finish. Probably the best dark D&B album in the last 10 years.

It's also a true spiritual successor to Wormhole as well, and that can only be a good thing, right?

Highlights include "G-Force Jesus", "Snaggletooth" and "Titanium", although there's not a bad track on the album.

But it immediately and play it LOUD. It's dirty, and your neighbours will hate it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge Sound, Great Tunes 7 Feb 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Ed and Optical were always one step ahead of the other Drum & Bassers in the production and arrangement side of things, and "Galaxy" is no exception. This album is so loud it is unbelievable. Possibly the loudest deepest subs I have heard.
The tunes are all great, with some absolute belters.
If you have liked Ed Rush and Opticals' work in the past, do not hesitate to buy this. Do give it a few plays first tho before you make up your mind, there is so much good music it gets a bit overwhelming, but thats a good thing !!

PS Your nieghbours will hate it !!

4.0 out of 5 stars ED Rush & Optical - Travel The Galaxy 6 April 2011
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Typical Virus Recordings album - heavy Optical flavour on most of the tracks I'd say. Favourite track is Chubrub, but most of the tracks are good.

5.0 out of 5 stars still at the top of their game 3 May 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
if your into dark, metallic, futuristic drum & bass your know Ed Rush & Optical. 'Travel the Galaxy' is there best album since their first [Wormhole] back in 1998, but thats not to say their other albums are bad, 'Travel the Galaxy' is just more pure in what they do best.
put on track 5 'Chubrub' with the volume on max, sit back and listen to THE best Drum & Bass around

5.0 out of 5 stars Under the floor boards dark! 19 Dec 2009
Format:Audio CD
Wicked and typical Ed rush & Optikal fodder dark sci-fi drum and bass. This album is unmixed ( I wish more reviewers would highlight if an album was mixed/unmixed in the dance music genre) and all tracks are quality. Stand out tracks for me are snaggletooth and titanium
