3.0 out of 5 stars Really sparked my wanderlust 1 Mar. 2014

As a reasonably seasoned traveller/tourist I found I was able to tick off a few of these experiences. Overall the book itself is easy to read and flick through. The entries are a little short but are enough to capture the essence of the experiences, perhaps a few details of how to get to these places might be nice. However, the book contains some great photographs which bring the entries to life. Formatting on the kindle isn't great, but, as it is a free book it is hard to complain. Ultimately, this would make a better coffee table book than mini ebook, but still a pleasant read.

Loved all 52 ideas, I am travelling around Asia for a year soon and it has given me some food for thought. Only problem is that not all of the 52 are on the map or in the right place and some of the photos are missing or in the wrong order but all in all it was great

4.0 out of 5 stars Good ideas 10 May 2014

As a free kindle book this is a good starter. It contains 52 ideas for holidays. Some are obvious (Inca Trail etc) and some are not. Each has at most a page description and a picture. The excerpt is from different Lonely Planet guides. It doesn't give itineraries, hotel advice or anything else. Just a simple description to try and entice you. The only issue is that the pictures and formatting don't quite work as expect on the kindle with some photo's not displaying at all. For free you can't complain though.

For a free kindle book my expectations weren't high... which was a good thing! I love planning potential trips away so was nice to see a few ideas but much better just to use the internet for research.

An interesting booklet with some great ideas outside of what we would normally think of. Could have done with a few more photos to inspire though, otherwise very good.
