I read this a few years back and completely loved it. GM likes to try different things in his novels. As such you cannot predict what they are like until you start reading them.
The plot is about a woman struggling to keep her family together. She works as a cleaner. This is the person who cleans up murder scences.
Its a dark and troubling story. There is a supernatural element to it but GM keeps you guessing so that you have to have some intellect to get it.
An unusual GM novel to be sure but a very good one as well.

I've been a fan of Graham Masterton for a very long time now but this book was really very poor. Nothing really happens until the end and when it does, it's blatantly obvious who the villian is. Thank god I got given the book as a present. I'dve been quite annoyed if I'd spent money on this.

This wasn't the usual Graham Masterton Horror with it's usual blood guts and gore. But the horror that can go on in peoples minds! Still a can't put down till you finish kind of book.
