I have read many books on survival and trapping. They all delt a little with the art of trapping to aquire food for survival, but did not give the in depth instruction and details for both large and small game as this book has. I would reccomend this book to any one that is trying to hone-up their survival skills or just wish a low cost alternative to controling pest in their garden.

Not the run of the mill trapping or survival book. Contains unique information I have not seen in other books of this genre'. To the author: Excellent job! Researched in detail!

When I see something referred to as a "Bible" then for some reason I expect it to be pretty all encompassing on its chosen subject. This book isn't it is more an instructional booklet. I suppose I should have guessed from the number of pages. Basically it mainly deals with snares and to be fair the line drawings and instructions on these are pretty good. The box type traps and path guards are okay I suppose, but I was expecting more, both in the types of traps all of which are home made (which I like) but no other traps such as the Larsen trap are covered. Also the positioning of traps dependent on quarry is covered by a mere sentence or two. No bird traps are covered. So I would not recommend this booklet as it is far to expensive for what it is and if you are into survival most other survival books cover this topic almost as well.

A good basic book for anyone starting off trapping or snareing, nothing too complicated.Good fopr biginers with clear instructions and drawings.

good book for the amatuer trapper,photographs of the traps/snares would have been better to grasp the idea of how to construct than just the illustrations.

Too expensive
This has to be the highest cost to number of pages ratio I have ever paid. I was hoping that the information would be pure gold and make up for this. Unfortunately it is not. Read more
