I purchased this book for the AS level English Literature coursework
I was doing it on 'The History Boys' and 'Translations'
However, this book did not aid me at all in doing this coursework.
It did anaalyse the book well but it was not particularly relevant to my course.
Perhaps that is an error on my part though.

Yet another great entry in the dependable York Notes series of A-level Literature study guides. If you're going to be examined on this text then make sure you have a copy of these notes to hand; priceless.

Thought provoking 2 Jan 2006
Format:Paperback
Again, another AS level student here studying this play for the 11th of January exam. Translations is an extremely thought-provoking play, its subtle nuances in the story tackle issues that is universal. It really makes you self-reflect on your life and your stance in the world.

One problem is the fact that it would be great if there was a recording of the play jsut so it's easier to see the subtleties acted out on stage.
