I thought these walkie talkies were of very poor quality. When purchasing them I actually thought they were like helmets that fitted on a childs head. When they arrived I was exremely disappointed that they were two little plastic models that couldn't possibly justify the price I paid for them. However, the child I gave them to seemed to enjoy playing with them.

When purchasing this product the image given makes it look like 4 walkie talkies would be included. This seemed sensible as the price was double that of its competitors. This was my mistake as it does say further down the page only 2 will be supplied, however a more appropriate image of the product would have been better. I am seriously considering sending these back as they are well overpriced for the product.

My 6-yr-old grandson got this as a gift - what fun he's having ! Reception is good, came with batteries installed for "out-of-the-box" operation. Seem pretty sturdy, good choice !

My two sons chose to combine their allowances to buy this as a shared toy--a nice gesture, I thought. Unfortunately, this was a total washout. The range seems to be about 15 feet (after that static overwhelms intelligibility), and limited to line-of-sight--even going slightly around a corner makes the message cut out. A complete waste; couldn't be more of a rip-off. I thought the Transformer folks would care at least a little about protecting the integrity of their brand, but I guess not.
