Having had no experience of Transformers before, it took a little bit to work out how to transform from the plane to the robot and back. This is a great toy, our son really loves to play with it. A bonus is the Optimus Prime micro transformer which comes out of the back of the plane - this had had plenty of play time too. The recommended age is from age 5, he is 4 and it is a challenge to him, however this is a good thing.

Unlike most transformers of this size, (stands 7 inches ish high) it is very easy to transform, has alot less moving parts to be broken off and comes with a very mini optimus. My 4 year old loves it!

i love the look of the plane mode, the transformation is really cool. he's really durable, just ask my 4 year old daughter. the only problem i have, and i have it w/ a few of the TF2 toys is there to twig like they don't seems like armored robot warriors like the TF1 toys had. but thats more of a conseptual issue. othere then that love love him.
