i brought mixmaster partly because i needed him for my collection but also because of the negative reviews that the toy was getting. whilst i will admit that the new figures are generally more difficult to change than the old ones this figure is by no means the most difficult. i changed it in about 5 minutes and was only using the picture for a reference. the trick is to look at the picture and see where the parts should be then gently pull or lift or twist until it moves. i have rarely used the instructions and i am amazed that people struggle so much with this figure.
still i used to have dozens when i was a kid and now im loving collecting the new ones even though the people in the shop wonder why a 36 year old would be buying them and look at me a bit funny. i say this years ago when they were first out i could only afford to buy them from the car boot and it was pot luck what would be there and in what condition. so now im older and can afford them then im gonna buy them so there.
great toy and great film. please please please whoever takes up the job of doing the next one please dont kill the franchise with some rubbish like they did with the first batman films.

Don't get this figure it is impossible to transform and looks really rubbish u will be wasting your money if u buy it.

Bought this for my son (not from Amazon I must add) and I must just put a note on here to say do not waste your money on this - 6 family members tried to transform this and its virtually impossible, bits fall off in the process, and in the end my 6 year old son agreed to let me get something else to replace it, and he doesnt usually give in !! Although it states it s a lvel 3 - of which we have other level 3's like optimus prime, this is just ridiculous - dont bother!!!
