Product Description
The sky over one of Earth's largest cities erupts into flame as four powerful warriors from another world meet in combat. High in the thin, freezing air of the stratosphere, the ancient warrior JETFIRE takes on the Decepticon master of fear, THUNDERCRACKER, in the delicate strategy of a supersonic battle. Meanwhile, in the air just above the tops of the buildings, Autobot BLADES and SPINISTER exchange brutal volleys of missile and machine gun fire, each hoping to bring the other crashing down.

This 4-pack of transformers includes a helicopter, a sea-plane type thing, an sr71 blackbird and a jet fighter plane. That's a great mix that most kids will enjoy twisting and turning through the air. Also, since two are autobots and two are decepticons the odds will be even, so t speak. The blackbird is recognizable from the movie as Jetfire who featured prominently in one scene in Revenge of the Fallen.
The quality of construction is not up to the old school transformers produced when i was growing up. These are all constructed of molded plastic and really won't stand up to a good stomping. They should be fine to withstand the regular abuse of a 4 to 8 year old though.
They are labeled as a 3 out of 4 for difficulty in transforming, but my 4.5 year old nephew found them easy enough...moreso than another transformer labeled 2 out of 4. I'm guessing because they are small and have relatively few parts that most kids will find them easy to play with.
Generally, they look really great in plane/helicopter mode...some look better than others in robot mode, but all look like humanoid robots. I think any transformers fan will really enjoy these toys. The back of the box even has their "stats" listed which i remember from the very first models released.

I was into these things as a kid and my son loves them now too. This set is very solid and my 5 year old loves playing with them. The paint jobs are well done and they transform into robot and back to vehicle mode well.
