This toy looked really good when we got it, really detailed and a bit of a pig to transform first couple of times (Thats all the fun of transformers though I guess!), problem was, once you had changed it a few times, the joints began to get really loose, then everytime you changed it, bits started falling off.
One of the other problems was if you put a bit too much pressure on when opening/closing certain parts of the toy, you can damage the tiny gears, once that happens, it never goes into either car or robot properly and starts to look a bit tatty.
Overall, this toy would probably be ok if looked after really well, so probably best for older children, but younger kids will destroy it in minutes.

I bought this for my four year old. At first it's a bit complicated to transform but once you've got it there's no problem. Detail is fantastic and incredibly durable, the baby has thrown, chewed and bashed it. Loved that the car functions perfectly and as a transformer he's great. Definitely recommend. I bought a big simpler optimus prime on a mothers recommendation and it's rubbish, not realistic enough so it hasn't been played with once, and believe me, kids do know!!! Would definitely recommend this, kids love things that extend their thinking and puzzle solving and this will.

Quite complex for my son to build - which means I am involved most times her plays with it.
Regardless that it was the wrong toy he seems to have fun but the fact remains:
It was not what we chose and he cannot enjoy it to its full without me helping.
My boy is 4.5 years old.

bumblebee cool my son loves this toy
this is a really good toy for kids who love transformers. the only negative i have for this toy as i have since found it alot cheaper on other websites. but overall very happy.

Nephew thinks bumblebee is ace. This toy has all the requisite transforming capability and appears fairly durable. Get transforming!

this bumblebee is the worst bumblebee i ever got , get the transformers 1 bumblebee its better then this piece of junk

Not suitable for Children
This toy lasted 15 minutes before parts of it started to fall off. Very disappointing. My 6 year old grandson was very disappointed that it fell apart so easily.
