I bought this transformer for my 4 year old grandson because he likes monster trucks. When my son was young transformers were easy to transform. Now you need a degree in engineering! No one in the family has managed to transform the robot into the preferred truck. We do not find the instructions very easy to follow. This toy is obviously designed for an older child. My mistake for thinking it would be the same as the original Transformers.

Bought this for a friends 5 year old who was delighted with it. There is just the right level of complexity with the toys so that he is challenged and hasnt got bored with it.

How happy was my son finding this toy in his hoilday flight bag, it came as a autobot and he had fun putting it back into the car. The instructions were good but who really reads them. Out of all my sons transformers this is everyones fav. It is small enough to take anywhere and not be in the way, good value for money and would recommend this to anyone.

My son loved this!!! 24 Sep 2009

My 8 year old son received this as a gift - it was his first transformer and he was crazy about it! He had somewhat of a difficult time transforming it, the directions of a little vague, but once he got the hang of it, he kept doing it over and over again, trying to beat his previous record for the fastest time. I would definitely recommend this product!

Funny - evil "Johnny 5" like character 25 Jun 2009

Wheelie has a nice vehicle mode (a toy truck) and rolls very nicely on every floor.

Once transformed, it becomes a very large robot (compared to all the other deluxe transformers). The only let-down is that the head doesn't turn around (just forwards-backwards), but it is very movie-accurate.

I needed to read the leaflet so i could understand how to transform it. Once you transform it, you'll understand. My daughter likes it, even when the character curses a lot. :)

What the truck is this thing??? 24 Dec 2009

Autobot wheelie is definitely a transformer for people with a sense of humor. His toy truck mode is very interesting not to mention HILARIOUS that any TF would pick this as an alternate mode! Robot mode is basically Freddy Krueger meets Pee Wee's playhouse. Wheelie is pure insanity with a fun twist that the new TF generation was lacking until now...

ravage 24/7 15 Aug 2011

Wheelie is one smartass bot with attitude that is excellent all around!Wheelie dosen't have all the heavy weaponary like his fellow transformers, but makes up for it in character. The symbol in the middle of his chest can change to either autobot or decepticon to please whatever mood your in.Wheelie has outstanding detail in robot mode with realistic features in the arms torso, and head piece. The RC Truck mode is very realistic as well with a very solid build. The poseability is awesome with Wheelie being able to assume many different poses for battle scenes or displaying him where you please. The durability is excellent as well with a very solid transformation where all parts fit very securely together and Wheelie being able to handle any situation that may arise. The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Honestly Wheelie is very versatile for all ages with a managable transformation that can be learned easily. To start off the arms rotate so the palms are facing out while the shoulders are rotated up and the hands are folded in.The upper wheels then rotate out while the top part of the cab is formed by bringing together the two side sections of the torso. The head then folds down with the eyes coming together to end up forming the tailgate, next the arm sections fold in to create the bottom section of the cab while the flaps on the legs fold down. The legs form the front of the RC Truck by folding in,swinging out while closing the feet pegs together, then rotating back in again.Wheelie is a great transformer that all ages can enjoy.Bottom line Wheelie is a high quality,well-made 10 out of 10 transformer all fans should treasure.I highly recommend ROTF Wheelie to all transformer fans and collectors alike.Wheelie Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

SIZE! 28 July 2009

entertaining, highly posable except for the head. transforms from a teeny-weeny r.c. car to a robot mode that looks big enough to thrust his lower torso at your leg. the only possible complaint I can think of is that you can see his mouth in the back of the truck mode.
