This was purchased for my 5 year old grandson (I believed that was the right age for the toy) however it has proved to be a difficult toy to "transform" even for adults and personally I believe the instructions could have been a lot clearer in the step by step - if you don't have the patience of a saint, considerable dexterity and a good understanding of these types of toys then do think twice before purchasing.
