Product Description
Weakness offends Grimlock. He considers none so weak as those who refuse to use their full strength to command victories. As a result, he's never had much respect for Optimus Prime. He barely even considers himself & his Dinobots to be part of the Autobot army most of the time. He only grudgingly helps the heroic Autobots because the tyranny of Megatron offends him even more than weakness. He longs for the day when Optimus Prime makes a final mistake leaving a vacancy that Grimlock will be more than happy to fill.

Don't pay £100+ just go Toys R Us... this is a joke. I paid around £60 for mine. This Grimlock is about the same size as the new Optimus Prime and comes with a sword, gun and crown - so just be careful you don't loose anything.

I must agree with the other reviewer. I picked mine up for £60 in my local Toys'r'Us and I'm very glad I only paid £60 for him.
As with the other Masterpiece figures, he's very detailed. The transformation from alt mode to robot is almost identical to the old Grimlock toy we all grew up with. He's chunky, imposing, and yet oddly shorter than my Masterpiece Optimus Prime! The face is just right, and even comes with a golden crown for him to wear. After all "Me Grimlock no bozo, me King!"
My biggest issue with him is build quality. The moment I took him out the box you could hear the plastic creaking, see the joints flopping loosely. Very, very badly put together compared to MP Optimus. I don't think he'd survive many transformations or anything but the most casual play. I've put him away in the display cabinet instead, to keep my MP Prime company.
If you can get it cheap, he's recommended, but definitely not at full price, he's just too cheaply assembled.
