I laughed at Lego snobs who wouldn't deviate and buy another brand. It's a tiny piece of plastic with two small circles, can it really be that different? When you buy Kreo you're losing out on decades of design experience. Any Lego set I can remember gets stronger as you build it. This Kreo set becomes more fragile with every block added. It's as though they went for block count, rather than a good experience. It virtually explodes in your hand when completely built. If my son weren't so attached to Bumblebee the character, this would get returned tonight.

This was the second kre-o set that Santa brought this year and well, it just is a bit lacking. It took about 20 minutes for my master builder to assemble and well, it has sat on the kitchen table, along with Optimus Prime (that HUGE one) for two weeks now. Meanwhile, the Lego Ferris wheel has had tons of play, constant reconstruction, and is overall a great product. These Kre-o sets are pretty ho-hum when compared to the Lego sets. Three of these sets were brought this year and the third has been requested to be returned. That says it all, huh? So, if you have a mega Transformer fan in your house, these would look great sittig on a shelf. But, don't expect them to hold up to any serious playtime because they just won't. I really cannot recommend them all that much - they're just pretty boring once the kids are used to all the things the Lego sets can do.
