I grew up playing with the original Transformers in the 80s and they were my Favorited toys and tv show back then. I've been relatively disappointed with some of the previous games for this franchise but having just finished this game in under a week, I have to say this one is totally different.

Rather than pander to the recent movies series, this one gives homage to the original series and movie from 80s. The balance between the different Autobots and Decepticons you play is just perfect and the storyline works very well with the original personalities. The controllability of the characters is good and there is more than enough variety in traits and abilities to keep it interesting all the way through. I constantly found myself looking forward to the next level and it does get better with each chapter.

I would say this is one of my favourite Xbox games ever and I usually don't feel the need to give a review but just had to with this game as I've had hours of great fun.

This game is my best game I have played on. The game has the greatest graphics I have ever seen! The game is full of action and guns you have not seen in your life before Like path blaster and about 20 more. And lots of helpful equipment. You can get the guns and the equipment at the teletraan 1. I hope you enjoy the game!

This is an excellent sequel to the brilliant War For Cybertron. The opening couple of levels in particular were fabulous, starting as the tiny but ever resourceful Bumblebee, you'll blast some Decepticons, experience some fantastically well lit environments before finally being allowed to transform and blast down a Cybertronian highway at break neck speeds. Transforming back into a robot at the end of the road, my heart was already pounding.

The next level sees you commanding everyone's favourite Autobot, Optimus Prime, and the level design here too was exemplary, with the metal walls of Cybertron twisting and morphing before your eyes to spectacular effect. It felt like traveling through a living organism, not some manufactured corridors in a generic shooting game.

Beyond the opening levels, the quality and originality begins to suffer, it's still entertaining stuff, but some curious game dynamics meant that Cliff Jumper's stealth level was far easier to complete simply blowing everything up with a rocket launcher. After most encounters, you will come across a terminal were you can change your weapon to any weapon you've found the blueprint to, and it comes with full ammo. So I blew everything up, reloaded at a terminal and blew up the next room. I continued this theme for the entire campaign.

I'm really happy they introduced the Combaticons, Vortex and Onslaught were my favourite Decepticons as a child, so I loved getting to play them in a game, and I was overjoyed when they all combined to form Bruticus, but was let down by the fact you only get to play him for about a minute, and he's so strong, you annihilate every Autobot in your path, and there's very little peril or threat of death, so it just becomes all too casual and far too easy.

Pardon my grammer I suck at English.

Anyone who has played the first game, war for cybertron, will understand that which i compare in my review.

Lets start with the campaign.
where do i start or should i say where did high moon studios start. They introduce you into this game with the climax to the final battle. in which just before you have flashbacks and play through levels leading up to this event i personally found that this worked very well and made me want to complete it within the day.

The campaign is what i would consider to be the most varied part of the game, you now have these teletrann stores which you come across a few times each level at fixed points were you buy perks,(Stick with you permanently throughout the campaign.)weapons which are all new or have been modified to make them feel new (compared to when you used them in war for cybertron, all weapons apart from the bonus ones when you complete the campaign can all be upgraded with a total of 4 upgrades.)Also you can buy tech consisting of mines creating black holes sucking in all those close and killing them instantly, flying sentries which were probably my favourite piece of tech.I forgot you still have to find collectibles but they are now audio logs such as in dead space.

Now to the problems or dissapointments I personally had with the campaign.

great game

single player, although fairly short, is interesting, adds alot of variety, has a strong plot, uses references to the transformers legendary G1 series and 80's movie, using catch phases and movesn that any Transformers fan of any note should know.
The graphic options are limited, but the setting is fantastic. characters are interesting, and you feel you play a roll in a movie.
The controls are ace, the multiplayer in depth and varied, adding to that the fact you can build your own tranformer to dominate online.
Extra Multiplayer DLC is availible, and more is too come in the future, a drag in a sense, but really the modern day game thing now.
Single Player doesnt include the choice of co-op this time, but you dont miss it at all.
I WANT THE NEXT ONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suggest you all TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT
