My son had been looking for this Transformer for a while, so we were delighted that we finally found it here having scoured all the toyshops on the high street. Barricade Mechtech is good quality although not all the Mechtech models can make this claim. He's easy to transform and reform to his car guise and the attention to detail is very good, with proper painted detail rather than stickers. The rear spoiler in car guise is fragile though and has fallen off a few times, but it's easy enough to clip back into place. All in all my sons loves it and takes it everywhere with him.

This is one of the easier transformers in the mech-tech range, however everyone of these no matter what the age range on the box needs to be done by adults first then shown to children as theres no way you could give then to a child under 10 and tell them to get on with it. If you show a 5 year old how to do it 3 or 4 times theyv got it!!
My 6 year old son has wanted a transformer for a while... this one looked good so I thought we'd try it. I am very disappointed by it. It appears to have broken at the first play and now seems like a very expensive toy. A real shame
