I purchased this toy for my 6 yr old as it was all he wanted & talked about for Christmas. The shops only had the smaller (about 6" in height) ones priced at £22/25, but I was looking for the larger version as his brothers got Ironhide & Bumblebee (about 9/10" in height) and they were only £34.
So I was desperate with only a week & a half to go till Christmas, I found this on Amazon priced @ £49:99 plus postage £4:62, so I was sure at this price it would be the larger toy. Unfortunately when delivered it was the smaller toy. I was so so dissappointed as i could of bought this in the shop for 1/2 the price!!
I gave it to my son come Christmas along with more to make up for the size. At least an average height of the toy should of been given in the product description. This one is also alot harder to transform than the bigger ones.
Still totally disgusted that I was caught by this seller at an absolutely madness price £49:99 for something thats no bigger than your hand and for a child, Christmas is costly enough without that...!!!

I bought Bumblebee last year as a Christmas gift for my four-year-old. He had to try to transform it few times under supervision and later on was able to do it on his own. This year he got Optimus Prime for his 5th birthday. It is a little bit more difficult and had we not practiced with Bumblebee first, we would struggle to transform Optimus into the truck. My friend who hadn't played with these toys before gave up after a little while and I happily finished what he started. It is very fragile but it is a construction toy and not a toy car. All in all, it's a great toy and I would recommend it to any Transformers fan.

Although my 4 yr old loves this toy as he is completely addicted to Transformers, it hasn't stood up to the test of time when it comes to durability. He has tried to look after it and tells everyone to be gentle with it but legs and arms easily fall off and it soon becomes a pain for both parent and child.

useless
Just about impossible to 'transform': I've spent more time twisting and turning the damn thing myself than my son has actually playing with it.
