Product Description

Few have ever seen SHOCKWAVETM and lived. His is the hand that ensures DECEPTICON® plans remain secret from the AUTOBOTS®. He eliminates evidence and witnesses with brutal, emotionless efficiency. The only hints he ever leaves of his presence are smoking craters and the collapsed tunnels through which he travels.

Shockwave, in G1 he a cybertron gun of sorts, but here, he a cybertron tank, he carries a massive gun on his right arm as shown in the picture, on his left he has a blade, both weapons can detech and be relocated but Shockwave's cannon will only face forwards on his right hand arm due to the desgin of his left arm, thou it can attach, it be like he firing backwards. He has a rubber cable that connects into his gun and his back, this goes in and out quite easily, when attached it retricts his arm movement. His mechtech feature is on his cannon, you push the button forwards and two smaller guns flip out, the harder you push the button will click into place, thus keeping the flipped barrels out, but another press will release the barrels and they'll flip right back into their ordinal procession.

Transformation, isn't hard but not for rookies, in this mode, weapons are the same as his robot mode! He rolls pretty smoothly along flat surfaces. Thou I have yet to go and see the movie, the only difference I seen between the movie and the toy is the toy is coloured purple which is a homage to his G1 counterpart. Overall, I like this Shockwave figure I think he pretty cool and well worth the money to get!

My lad (5 years old) loves this toy and it looks very good, the problem we've had is that it came with a tiny screw and a small part missing but luckily it does not affect how it transforms, another small problem is that one of the parts has not being moulded properly making it difficult to transform but with a bit of pressure the part will push into place.

This was got for my nephew and this transformer toy can withstand a lot of rough treatment but saying that the left arm has came away from the shoulder joint a couple of times but it is just a case of sliding it back on. I mine having transformers myself when I was around 11 and they were easier to change back from one form to another compared to this range of model. Using the instructions supplied we could not quite follow exactly how to fully transform shockwave from robot to tank but however youtube came to the rescue and this is what I would recommend to anyone who buys shockwave to use instead of following the instructions. Shockwave would be a good present for a young boy and it looks ok and is a reasonable size and will stand up to multiple tranformations
